What do you like best about the product?
The tool is always becoming better and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of training and support for IBM. We need to discover each new funcionality from IBM help or international YouTube consultants.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create different scenarios for Budget and Forecasts, easy and fast.

Excellent analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
IBM PA has a powerful engine that handles sparsity very well - other competing software solutions do not compete. It is flexible and completely customizable to fit your business and planning needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are challenges with the fact that PA is so customizable; there are times when something "can" be done in PA, but really should not and can cause issues down the line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize PA internally for revenue forecasting and resource planning.

A powerful and flexible tool.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to access because it is a web-based (cloud) environment. And also, Planning Analytics for Excel (PAFE) is quite a good interface for working in Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be more user-friendly, it still needs improvements. Since it is web-based (cloud), it does not yet have the easy-to-use features of an operating system-based application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It stabilizes the planning process, so companies make strategy development easier.

It has built in business rule engine which helps you easily translate business requirements into the model. Handles calculations very well on large data sets.
What do you dislike about the product?
In large models memory and cpu utilizations could be better maintained.

Corporate business planning and forecasting is very hard when done in excel. Ibm Pa helps companies complete their planning and forecasting processes in a secure collaborative centralized environment.

Perks of IBM Planning Analytics with Watson
What do you like best about the product?
The Graphical User Interface of the workspace is amazing. Extremely easy to understand and work on. We can also use the Excel-like UI if we are habitual to that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst thing about it is the price. It costs 1,250$ which is extremely costly. And in the free tier, we can only have max of 5 users and also, we can not use the Excel-Like interface in the Trial Version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The three main things that have been made extremely easier are IT Project Planning. We don't have to enter all the data in excel sheet now, We can easy come around the budgets and everything with the help of IBM Planning Analytics with Watson.
Fast, Reliable tool
What do you like best about the product?
IBM PAW has wide accessibility options which makes it easy to access from anywhere and easily. It offers Excel Add-on, Web version, WinSCP connectivity for server to server. The tool is very much useful in handling heavy data for Profit & Loss account, employees management and cost control options in our Record to Report accounting.
What do you dislike about the product?
PAW could be more easier as it requires technical expertise before onboarding any new user. SSO login could also be improved to make login flow faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To keep track and calculation of customer profit and loss account, overheads cost management it offered us am amazing solution for reporting and decision making purpose.
