What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to navigate through and handled most of the tasks

Still new, haven't really found anything to dislike

Once in a while if job fails call gets missed , but not that often.
What do you like best about the product?
acknowledging the call so that next person on call don't need to wake up unless first person on call wont life the call

once in a while missing call when job fails

we don't need person awake whole night to check if jobs are running on time or if anything failed. Once we get call when job fails that will allow for on call person to take rest till he /she gets call

Make sure calls wont be missed once in a while

The UI can take a little getting used to

We handle being on-call over the weekend
It works great and keeps me on top of work

The app can take some time to load up properly when a page comes in.

Keeping an eye on our many systems and ensuring that any downtime is quickly dealt with.
Pager Duty
What do you like best about the product?
Simple app that works like it should. While using Pager Duty, I easily receive updates and pages. The integration with Jira is wonderful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate receiving pages! But that is not a Pager Duty dislike!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pager Duty provides an easy way for our co to receive pages regarding customers using our app. This makes everyone aware of issues.

Been able to setup custom alerts and especially the api customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dont like getting alerts in general, however if need to get alerts, the platform make it very customizable..

Off hours alerts.
Good On Call software
What do you like best about the product?
Easily configurable.
Allows testing the different alarms.
The schedule can be exported to Google calendar.

The "schedule" in the Android app only shows the schedule for the day, cannot see future dates/calendar. Really annoying.

On Call schedule for software systems.

I've not seen any other app meeting all my needs for alerting/ paging

Cannot think of anything as of now. Using further may show some cons

I like that it’s extremely user friendly and easy to use. The UI is easy to read and the notifications are customizable so that I’m not bothered at all hours.

I dislike occasionally the ramp up period. Using it now is easy but the first few times it was not so navigable to me

The instant nature of it and the different channels I can get my notifications on.

I would like to get the push notification before the phone call

We monitor our apps and have different schedules and escalations tiers. This has made the response faster and more reliable
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Anyone with critical running software should at least consider the idea of implementing pagerduty. It's ease of mind when not needed and really effective when needed.
