Cylance Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the all around protection that security that this application provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
More control within the desktop client would be appreciated, even if protected by admin credentials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We replaced Avast with this and it has been nearly a 100% seamless transition

Cylance Review
What do you like best about the product?
Cylance is one of the few anti-malware programs that protects while using minimum system resources. It just sits in the background, protecting our users. It took little to no time to implement and it has taken little to no extra effort to maintain. It keeps itself up-to-date and Cylance pushes regular update to keep us safe from the latest security threats. There was a breach last year that affect A TON of users world-wide, but Cylance was one of the few companies that was ahead of the curve and protected us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find a problem or something I dislike about Cylance. Their product is solid, easy to use and easy to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have peace of mind that our users are protected. We aren't wondering if their anti-malware is out of date.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! Cylance has been good to us and their online portal is clean and useful.
Cylance Protect
What do you like best about the product?
The way that it is algorithm based rather than definition based protection.
What do you dislike about the product?
I havent found a problem with the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Controversial but appears to work well
What do you like best about the product?
Invisible to the end-user, lightweight and does not appear to reduce OS or application performance. Threat protection is a constant problem in a large organization, and Cylance appears to provide reliable coverage to thousands of end-users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seems to have an aggressive sales and marketing program that may overstate the product's benefit. No real mechanism to flag false positives or deal with issues through the end user's console, some kind of partnership with the customer's internal sys admin team would be good, such that you can report a problem and get help from either your internal sys-admin and/or the cylance support team as the problem warrants.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employee PC malware protection.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Machine learning based systems and tools are the future of software. Definitely consider an AI-based solution like Cylance.
Seems to work well for Threat Intelligence in our office

Very simple interface.. does what it is supposed to do.

Yet another program running the background
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a few malware items get through our Sophos Anti-Virus and so this is a good back up system. To date we have had no more malware or ransomware get through our network

What do you like best about the product?
I like the overall design of the system it helps me with my work a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about other than it could improve its tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving building projects and getting them done in time. Overall it has helped a a whole lot at work and I love it.

You should try it out you will love it.
Decent Antivirus/Security suite
What do you like best about the product?
Decent on resource usage for client workstations unlike other Antivirus suites
What do you dislike about the product?
very little that I personally dislike. Management interface could be less cludgy

Reduce cost of Antivirus protection as well as easy to maintain deployments

If you are a current McAfee user you will definitely want to consider migrating to CylancePROTECT. Overall system resource utilization is very acceptable
Lite weight and advanced protection
What do you like best about the product?
I like the reduced impact on end-user systems. Reduced complaints about system resources being overextended.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no easy way to delete quarantine items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identify more viruses and reduce the impact on end-user systems.
Easy to Use, Protects Against Malware
What do you like best about the product?
Cylance was able to protect against the WannaCry vulnerability using their AI technology. What's interesting is that even their first version of their software was able to protect again WannaCry before the actual vulnerability came out. Deployment is easy and you can configure the software so that it requires a password to uninstall. What I like best is the fact that you don't have to rely on continual antivirus definition updates. The administrator console is easy to use and allows for exporting. It also integrates with Splunk. you also have the ability to set different policies for different hosts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search query in the administrator console could be improved so that when searching by MAC address, you don't need to put it in the format required. It would be nice if organizations could install this on prem instead of relying on the admin console to be hosted by Cylance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CyalncePROTECT allows you to protect your hosts against malware and other malicious viruses. It uses AI to check files and process before they are run. The biggest benefit of Cylance is that it has protected our hosts during all of the big name ransomware and vulnerability campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this product. It can be configured so administrator's receive alerts whenever a host is infected.
Works well
What do you like best about the product?
The client for Cylance is pretty lightweight and has a no frills sort of look to it.. It gives you the info you need at a glance about threats on your pc
What do you dislike about the product?
The backend management interface can be slow at times but it is robust. It does seem to flag an awful lot of things as threats though they aren't. Like built in windows processes get flagged for some reason and you have to go in and allow each process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being that Cylance is available for both mac and pc we are able to successfully protect all of the computing devices that we deploy.
