Arctic Wolf MDR Bolsters Defenses
What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf MDR has proven to be a game-changer for our organization and is a key piece of our security program, providing much needed visibility, monitoring, and alerting, 24/7/365. Arctic Wolf is a much-needed augmentation to our small IT/security team, we use it daily.
After firing up the POC we were able to easily integrate many log and data sources right away and were seeing events within the afternoon. The platform and alerting is intuitive and easy to understand.
The concierge team has been great supporting our environment, answering questions and providing ongoing support and updates.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing we "dislike" about Arctic Wolf, there is some fine tuning required but as time goes on we are seeing continuous improvements to the configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf solves the problem of continuous monitoring where we do not have enough dedicated staff to have our own SOC or to staff all shifts 24/7/365.

What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf is a great partner in supporting our IT security mission. They are quick to assist on alerts if we have follow-up questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managed Security Awareness lacks the ability to send training message under our company domain causing our employees to question the email as phishing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have regular touch point meets to review our account.

What do you like best about the product?
The concierge team assigned to my company not only work with us to ensure they feel they have everything they need to provide a solid service but continue to hunt and identify threats as they appear and assist with remediation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the reporting for the vulnerability assessments do not quite allow me the flexibility I prefer, however the information is all there and available for me to pivot in any way I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf receives and assesses data from almost all of my Endpoint inventory, most of my cloud services, my on-prem and cloud Domain infrastructure, DNS, Firewalls, and the Arctic Wolf sensors inline at my primary locations, and watches all of that information for correlations, challenges, or indications of compromise.

Arctic Wolf quickly became my trusted security partner, their concierge service is professional and instills confidence that you have made the right decision to partner with them.

What do you dislike about the product?
Given that I was keen to engage a third party to work with us on our cyber security stance there isn't much wrong to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all the Arctic Wolf platform combines all our different security products into a single pane view and then aggregates all the data into a more meaningful analysis of what's going on within my network.
Then, secondly the Observation Pipeline filters through the noise of a busy business network and only alerts me to those data points which really need my attention, with simple alerting rules to keep me in the loop.
Finally, if something is actually happening, the containment process gives me the confidence to know that even out of hours, any issue is going to be shut down as quickly as possible.

Easy to implement, serious and professional engagement with Arctic Wolf
What do you like best about the product?
SOC in a sock. Meaning: So easy to use and implement.
Support is very helpfull, and capable.
Intgegration with logs (external as well as internal) is a dream come true.

Lack of ability to detect data exfiltration (in our curent setup).

Having a capable 24/7/365 SOC
Arctic Wolf Finds Risks Others Don't
What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf has an easy to use dashboard with relevant, actionable information. They allow IT teams to address risks at a high, or very granular level enabling a team approach withing an organization, all while providing a committed concierge team who seem to always be available and ready to help! Implementation was a breeze and consistent review from the AWN team helps it stay current and working well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many things come to mind regarding negatives, but if there was a way to speed up the impact of attempted remediations, that would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AWN finds risks that others don't. They are keeping our environment monitored and patched to a level we could not without them.

Peace of mind and easy to use. Email notifications are sufficient if you organize them coming in.
What do you dislike about the product?
typical upselling, I appreciate knowing a learning of new products but when it doesn't fit its ok to hear no thanks

is that extra eye out on our network so we aren't relying on our staff to manually monitor things

Amazing customer service, excellent support and services. Incredibly easy integration with a plethora of features. I use their portal daily.

Their multi year renewal tiers are a bit odd.

Arctic Wolf removed the need for us to maintain an internal SOC for a fraction of the cost.

Lack of hypervisor support outside of VMWare and Hyper-V

AW helps us maintain a secure environment. from our network and cloud services, to endpoint detection. This greatly reduces our risk profile and increases confidence in us as a vendor.

What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf offers great detection and response services, and provide real time security monitoring. I like their expert proactive approach to cybersecurity.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of can be the cost, which can be relatively high for SMB.

Arctic Wolf solves the problem of constantly evolving threats using real-time monitoring, threat detection.
