Excellent Product
What do you like best about the product?
The reports generated by the tool, the monitoring, and emails of the alerts related to the configured infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not found any items that I dislike about the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alert Control of server resources and backups of the configured infrastructure.

Veeam Backup & Replication the best to cloud and virtual enviroments
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup & Replication are great to backup and recovery virtual enviroments and the most common system operations and databases, offer replication and charback to cloud, the ransomware preotection is good
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam Backup & Replication are a rellative new backup and recovery tool and dont offer compabilitie with legacy platforms, now incorporate taoe support and are better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam Backup & Replication help to haved a backup and recovery tools and help to can backup vmware enviroments and some sql sever databases on line, offer granular recovery
Veeam is an outstanding backup software
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam makes the backup process quite simple. Easy to configure and pickup without advanced knowledge ahead of time. You can also get more advanced with the configuration and use remote repositories and replication to backup the data to different sites and to disk for air gapped backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The recent change in licensing model gives you more versatility since it switched to machine count instead of host, but frankly it appears to have been a cash grab more than anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Veeam to do full server backups that we can replicate between our data centers. We are able to make these immutable to help protect against ransomware, and we are also able to copy these to disk so we can store these in air-gapped setup for another layer of protection.
Great backup and disaster recovery
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam allows you to not only to backup your data, but you can replicate an entire server VM. In other words, make a working copy of it onto another server. If something happens, you can restore just a file or the entire server or, even better, start-up and run that replicated server instantly and not wait for a backup restore. Then once you're ready, you can either fall back to the original server or tell Veeam to slow copy that backup server to the original location while you are running on the backup. No one will notice this all happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be expensive for small businesses, but in our case, it has paid off many times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can have a working backup of our infrastructure on another server, both onsite and offsite. We replicate all or VM's to another host server both onsite and offsite. Even if our building were to blow away and have an exact working copy of it in another location.
Veeam B&R does the job
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup jobs for backup and restore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Restoring files from Cloud backup can be optimized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam B&R saves our ass when data is missing.
Simple to use, and extremely reliable.
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is incredibly simple to set up and configure. It has saved us several times when servers have either crashed, or had bad configs applied.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't seen many downsides to the product. I don't think I have ever had a machine fail to restore, and 99% of the time, it "just works".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam gives me peace of mind, knowing that I have redundant backups of all of our information in place, and that I can do file level restores.
Reliable, Trustworthy Productwith excellent support if needed
What do you like best about the product?
How reliable the product is, I have very little issues with the software and I can leave this running each night knowing my solution will be backed up reliably.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing costs have been expensive in the past although they have changed the License model which is more cost effective for the school

Backing up my virtual servers, also used the software to replicate my virtual servers to another server for disaster recovery
Works without any problems

Veeam Backup & Replication is easy to configure and runs without any problems.

The software does no automatic patching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the loss of data and helps you to stay calm.
It just works.

Seamless integration, easy to replicate to on-prem and offsite locations, and built-in testing capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the replication to AWS, the only downside is if there is any corruption, it requires a new re-base of the local as well as offsite when using the storage tier option.
