Flexibility, ease of use, easy to configure

Cloud solution offered has some issues, specifically around licensing

Agility and Innovation, ease of use, performance

sometimes teh newer versons of products are a bit buggy and take time to stabilize

PLanning, Analytics, Allocations and Consolidations and Real-time Reporting
Planning platform which is powerful and highly configurable
What do you like best about the product?
It is a reliable platform, with powerful and flexible modelling to meet business requirements. The toolset is reliable and platform has good performance for its purpose.
What do you dislike about the product?
The co-existence of multiple versions of tools can require too much decisions from novice users. But good for power users.

We are business partners so integrate with the tool.

Easy to use, powerful tool. Integrates nicely with Excel.

Advanced capabilites require some training and experience to keep models effecient.

Finance users can easily use cube views, web interfaces, slice and dice data for exploration purposes

Performance and stability, the server crashes intermittently without enough logging

Very complex for end users and UI is not great compared with other vendors

Planning Limited Only By Your Imagination
What do you like best about the product?
Seemingly unlimited capability and flexibility to handle the most complex planning challenges, giving the customer exactly what they want.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the coding can be a little complex until your knowledge of the tool increases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to take detailed inputs and quickly translate to operating results of business units. Accountability driven down to whatever level is important.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
More integration with Cognos Analytics. Ideally Planning Analytics would just plug into Cognos Analytics as a data soure and there would only be a single reporting platform
