What do you like best about the product?
I like how reliable and quick our DB2 tables are. We use WinSQL to display and manage our DB2 tables and they are nothing short of fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything about our DB2 tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the issue of enterprise scaling. Our DB2 tables allow us to have a massive scale for data, which is critically important for my global company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Nothing to worry about -- DB2 tables are the best you can get.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a robust and fully tested technology. Very reliable for any volume of data. Preferably the transactional ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not good for big data.. Many commands and references of very nebulous errors. It requires a lot of computing power...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transactions are very well handled by db2 ...all our transactions are handled by db2 DB

At first glance not so easy, but then you get used to it

The database we use at work is db2.Fast connection, good input for any errors you might have

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to implement and integrate with other technologies.
What do you dislike about the product?
How slow and heavy it is, in addition to its lack of a tool that manages it effectively and not based on Eclipse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The entire database system set up in the public administration is DB2, it has benefits such as its reliability in terms of system crashes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In my company, the migration to Oracle is being carried out, so I would not recommend it because it is not a current technology.

What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion Oracle is the best. It supports the most programming languages and has the best features. Db2 is the next best thing. It’s useful across all ibm host environments. Companies with an ibm mainframe often use db2.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does t have map reductio pin or immediate consistency like sql and oracle do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Don’t have any problems other than small integration issues which would persist on all databases

What do you like best about the product?
Oh man, I got bored of mysql and this was a brand new light to our lifes.
This made our work way easier with our data bases. The graphs are gold.
What do you dislike about the product?
Xml over Json.. ew
What else can i say, would be much easier to implement that
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Banking and websites, but mostly banking.

Keep it up guys, get the json!

What do you like best about the product?
I like a lot the support that it has, all the users that have been using it and purpossing challenges and all variety of solutions that you can use. Overall of this i like his security and the backup recovery. It is esasy to learn it and in a few time you could be working with this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that they are losing in the market vs Microsoft, but Microsoft is doing it very well. I think that IBM should get advance of them being updated using all the new technologies and get not stagnate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm working for a University departament building an app, and it fits exactly what we need for this, but even more I'm receiving work to use SQL Server, so every time I use it less.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If they don't update his software, they will lose the market vs Microsoft making almost impossible consider it like an option to work

DB2 posee monitor gráfico el cual posibilita observar el tiempo de ejecución de una sentencia SQL y corregir detalles para aumentar el rendimiento.

Permite gestionar tanto datos relacionales convencionales como datos XML, sin necesidad de que tengan que ser transformados, esta capacidad es única en el mercado.

Lentitud crear y ejecutar consultas.
Utiliza mucho la memoria RAM para las instalaciones y utilización de software.
DB2 posee un elevado costo económico en licencias personales.

Recuperación utilizando accesos de sólo índices.

Predicados correlacionados.

Posee tablas de resumen, tablas replicadas, uniones hash y utiliza una combinación de seguridad externa y control interno de acceso a proteger datos.
