  • November 23, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its interface has a fairly simple, simple and powerful design which greatly simplifies a large number of processes and tasks, the fact that it allows me to protect my information and data in a much simpler, powerful and secure way is something of great help for maintain access to our information in a much simpler, safer and more practical way, their customer service team is quite fast and efficient when responding to any questions or requests that may be generated while using this application without any problem, the The fact that it can be integrated with other cloud software such as google drive and one drive is of great help to us to keep all our files in a fairly secure way and in the same interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their documentation is somewhat deficient, so if we have a problem that we need to solve quickly, we will have to resort to customer service, of course, they respond quickly but it would not hurt if you could solve your problems yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been being of great help to us to organize all our files in a much simpler, faster and more organized way, the fact that we can back everything in the cloud is of great help to us to access in a much simpler and practical way to information, not to mention the fact that it allows us to increase the security and integrity of our files by having digital backups of our company information.

Tray.io plays an important part in automating work processes.

  • September 12, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Tray.io has made automating processes accessible for non-technical folks like myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way workflows are shared with coworkers is still unreliable. You can only have personal workflows or organizational workflows (i.e. no way to share with a specific team).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have many daily processes/data syncs that I have automated, which has freed up time and enabled me to support my business partners more effectively.

Great company with great people

  • August 20, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The people are very helpful and care. The platform is great and does a lot of amazing things but its the team of people that make the difference. I was originally comparing Tray with Zapier... they are not the same at all... very very different. Tray.io has a great team with a great tool. They helped me stand up a workflow that saved us a lot of time and effort. When we have issues someone helps us asap.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vendor APIs are not fun but Tray has helped a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrated to help desk systems. The benefit is a huge amount of saved time... basically half an FTE.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need an integration created go with Tray.io

Easy alternative to building a complex middleware layer

  • July 08, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Twofold
1. Engagement with the tray team allowed us to easily scope and validate that the solution we wanted to implement would be functional and practical to maintain.
2. Using the platform allowed our product team to complete the integration project in the space of a few weeks rather than requiring several months of developer time, not to mention ongoing support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tutorials could be provided via video if possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of integrating two systems that are reliant on external actions to move data around. Tray acts as a scalable middleware solution to push and pull data from one system to another, in a manner where the product team can easily swap out components without requiring a development rewrite./

Awesome App

  • June 24, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive and the visual programming is very helpful. It make working with APIs a simple process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked to have more workflows for the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to accomplish something I've tried for years to do. We can push pdf's from our app to box and get a shared link in return. That process, including sending via email or SMS automatically, takes 10 seconds. It is an awesome product and easy to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tray's support is awesome. They had my use case created for me before I even signed up. Also very helpful with getting us signed up during COVID-19.

Better than an in-house integration team

  • May 14, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Surface coverage for all of their API connectors is great-- you can tell they've spent a lot of time deciphering the nuances of different systems and putting it together in a way that's easily accessible. "Low code"... you could probably put together all of your workflows codelessly if you wanted, though we leverage tray.io for fairly complex processes and we end up filling gaps with their Script connector as well. The best aspect of their platform, though, would have to be their customer service. The tray team is continually available to us via support channels when we have questions, and they've helped us work through some of those complex scenarios as though they were members of our own team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Modularization and reusability of workflows could use improvement. Nearly anything is possible using their embedded platform, but sometimes steps need to be repeated across different solutions, making DRY principles challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Originally we set out to build integrations for all of our CRMs in-house but quickly realized that would become a burden to manage. Tray.io takes our third-party integration process down from weeks to hours.

Extremely Powerful Integration Tool w/ AMAZING Training & Support

  • May 13, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of the tool, regular debugging and training & support team that are willing to work with you to get sh!t done. Most notably, I've been working with George Gilliland who I can't say enough good about. His excellent approach to implementation, design and coaching has made him a total asset to getting things going with Tray.io!
What do you dislike about the product?
1 issue - Connector Fail Alerts (or a fail alert workflow) are not included with your account. Currently if there is a Connector Fail along the way, you would need to use a Connector to trigger another workflow to send your admin email notification. My account is more intro-level so I don't have the workflow to spare especially since this tool and each workflow is so game-changing when it comes to company automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Double Entry and getting to one data source of truth is the road we are currently on, but I know there are many more possibilities to come.

A multitool for business operations

  • May 06, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to implement on different platforms and easy to use UI, it's like having a quick programmer in reach without the need for extensive technical knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes get a bit complex and support is needed to finish it as they'll need to explain or propose the correct steps in the workflow, their support response times is usually not the best and hitting complex problems can take a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can quickly get projects rolling to our team and deliver results without going trough heavy engineering/ phases to implement, we can put workflow placeholders to migrate content and avoid disruption to the business operations
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a all-in-one solution for workflow issues and its way cheaper than hiring a developer / third party to build a custom API its very good at minor - mid complex implementations and you'll only need some ramp-up time to get it to work, anything that is outside of the scope of Tray is enterprise-grade development.

Great platform, great support.

  • April 29, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We like the "marketplace" approach with a number of out of the box connectors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet. The team has been supportive and even worked with us to establish a mutually beneficial business model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data integration and ETL across a number of systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
None.

The best iPaas player out there today

  • March 19, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Tray has the best workflow business in the industry. It is easy to read and build. Other players can get data from point A to point B, but Tray allows me to do this at a much quicker rate and without developer skills. I have tried the other players including a good competitor like Workato, but Tray still is the easier solution for non-IT/Dev builders. It feels more natural.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tray is still lacking organizational control settings (Group Admin settings). They just released some user management settings recently that were a great step forward but they have to continue developing that. I have no doubt they will get there just not there today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating internal applications and spinning up demonstrations with Tray powering example integrations to other systems. The biggest benefit is speed. With Tray I can spin up a demo to a system I have never integrated with in a matter of hours with no code. I was not able to do that before or had to wait for available resources to build out those integrations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In your evaluation look at who will be choosing the application and what they will be doing. If this is for an internal IT team, other vendors may look more "mature". If you want a system wide deployment, adoption will be key and Tray.io is a simpler platform to introduce.
