Miro makes collaboration so much easier!

  • May 01, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Our team uses Miro every day, and we find it incredibly user-friendly and accessible. It supports us through the entire project lifecycle, from initial brainstorming sessions and detailed planning to efficient management and even the final presentation of our work. I especially appreciate the extensive library of templates – they're such a convenient way to streamline our workflows and save valuable time. The new AI features also look really promising, and I'm genuinely excited to explore how they can further enhance our collaboration!
What do you dislike about the product?
Large boards can take some time to load. Also, I would love to have option to embed prototypes from Figma for example (it would be handy!).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us collaborate in a more efficient way. We have planning sessions and keep our roadmaps in Miro, which is accessible and super easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have sampled some of the AI tools and haven't found them to be super beneficial thus far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it for internal UX workshops with my team to work through complex strategic ecommerce focused tasks, concepting exercises, and brainstorm exercises.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro makes visualising so easy. It's simple UI is intuitive to any level of user and the level of additional tools and extensions it has grown to make it the best software for any scenario. I have used it for process mapping, wire-framing, print documents, workshops, project tracking, games etc. I have integrated boards into other tools I'm using also. I love how you just open it up and it's ready to go, it's very responsive and easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it struggles with huge amounts of elements and they layers feature doesn't seem to work as expected but I'm sure that'll right itself with some updates soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love Miro in particular for stakeholder management. I believe it is much easier to talk to a visual and gain alignment that way. The collaborative nature of it allows for this great interactive meeting scenario where multiple people are contributing at the same time.

Great tool, especially for remote work collaboration

  • April 30, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
It has so many functions and features, it makes it a broad tool for a lot of use cases. It also is helpful for many different teams in projects. From Product management to design, it is a great collaborative space for teams to reference and use. I really like brainstorming and running workshops in Miro, but it also a great tool for presentations and team bonding activities. It also is constantly being updated and new features being added, especially in the AI space. It makes it a very versatile and appealing tool. I would say my team uses Miro a couple times a week, if not daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to using Miro. Especially for those who don't engage in tools like this on a day to day basis. I find some of the account set up/access can be a little tricky and then just being able to use all the different features can be challenging for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps align project teams by having a shared space to display roadmaps and key initiatives, along side user flows and mock ups. It helps to create a centralized location to find any and all updates to a project and really becomes a great repository for teams. I like that it has real time collaboration so everyone can be in a space working together, plus the useful (and fun) tools like voting, sticky notes, etc. really help keep people engage.

My go-to for team collaboration and brainstorming

  • April 30, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is how easy and intuitive it is to use - it makes collaboration and brainstorming with my team feel seamless, whether we’re in the same room or fully remote. I also love the flexibility it offers, from using ready-made templates to creating our own. It really adapts to whatever kind of session we’re running, whether it’s planning, strategy, or creative thinking.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Miro is the table feature. Since Miro isn’t designed to be a data tool like Excel, its tables don’t easily sort, filter or offer advanced formatting. That said, the Miro team has made noticeable improvements over time, and it’s definitely more functional than it used to be. Another small challenge I run into is the character limit within text boxes, especially when trying to capture larger amounts of content in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the challenge of remote and hybrid collaboration by giving our team a shared space to brainstorm, plan, and organize work visually in real time. It eliminates the back-and-forth of static documents and meetings by letting us co-create, give feedback, and align faster. It’s especially helpful for workshops, strategy sessions, and team planning.

Our design team also uses Miro to create wireframes for stakeholder review before building out prototypes in Figma, which helps us gather feedback early and move faster. On the research side, our team uses it to sort and organize user feedback, plan studies, and build collaborative exercises. It’s become an essential part of our workflow across multiple disciplines.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Very powerful platform for collaboration and ideation

  • April 30, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is, overall, a very intuitive platform that lets you get in and quickly begin creating all kinds of collaborative idea boards. It's highly responsive in real time, even with a large number of people actively adding notes, graphics, and live integrations from other apps. The editing tools make sense, allowing you to move and size elements easily, make connections between items, and personalize. The functions for creating talk tracks or guided tours through a board are really interesting as well. Our team uses Jira and Office integrations that help with our Agile ceremonies, such as assigning fib points or editing story details that update in our Jira boards almost immediately. The user base is large too, which means there are a ton of templates to help you get started with almost any project you can imagine.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few of the external integrations can be a little bit fiddly to figure out at first, but in my experience, most of them work very well. Some of the paid extra apps can feel a little bit overpriced for the functionality, but the base content is so expansive that it's rarely an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our teams largely work from remote locations, so Miro is invaluable for real-time collaboration. It serves for everything from daily scrum & huddle visuals, to kanban boards, project management, capturing insights & metrics, and brainstorming. It's a huge productivity boost, versus relying on spreadsheets or other documents that may not update reliably or reflect changes in real-time when multiple users are editing simultaneously.

    Design

Part of my daily workflow

  • April 30, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to copy/paste/drag/drop. Never-ending canvas- can easily move to another section of the board instead of opening a new document. Collaborative. Love being able to move items around and recategorise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot I dislike about Miro itself, but I have found resistance by some people to use Miro in workshop settings after over-use during lockdowns/ working from home era. I love using Miro, but for people who don't use it day to day, I have found some resistance in wanting to use it for collaborative sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A single place for all my thinking. No need to use multiple tools for notetaking, brainstorming, collaborative working and designing. I also take user research interview notes in Miro and use the tagging and colour-coding features to organise and categorise notes. I love that it is collaborative. Great for workshops and capturing people's ideas.

Great tool for creative collaboration

  • April 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Miro for several design projects, especially during the research phase, and it's been incredibly helpful. The interface is intuitive, and the ability to gather ideas, images, and notes all in one place makes it perfect for brainstorming and mapping out workflows. It's also great for collaborating with teammates in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that the site can sometimes lag or freeze when a board has too many documents or heavy content. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be a bit frustrating during intense work sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro was a huge help during the pandemic, when all of our work had to be done online. It made remote collaboration much easier and allowed me to stay organized. Since then, I've continued using Miro for design projects because it makes it so easy to visualize ideas and structure research without needing a physical board. I like that I can access my project from anywhere, whether I’m at home, in the studio, or on the go.
