Very powerful platform for collaboration and ideation
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is, overall, a very intuitive platform that lets you get in and quickly begin creating all kinds of collaborative idea boards. It's highly responsive in real time, even with a large number of people actively adding notes, graphics, and live integrations from other apps. The editing tools make sense, allowing you to move and size elements easily, make connections between items, and personalize. The functions for creating talk tracks or guided tours through a board are really interesting as well. Our team uses Jira and Office integrations that help with our Agile ceremonies, such as assigning fib points or editing story details that update in our Jira boards almost immediately. The user base is large too, which means there are a ton of templates to help you get started with almost any project you can imagine.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few of the external integrations can be a little bit fiddly to figure out at first, but in my experience, most of them work very well. Some of the paid extra apps can feel a little bit overpriced for the functionality, but the base content is so expansive that it's rarely an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our teams largely work from remote locations, so Miro is invaluable for real-time collaboration. It serves for everything from daily scrum & huddle visuals, to kanban boards, project management, capturing insights & metrics, and brainstorming. It's a huge productivity boost, versus relying on spreadsheets or other documents that may not update reliably or reflect changes in real-time when multiple users are editing simultaneously.
Part of my daily workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to copy/paste/drag/drop. Never-ending canvas- can easily move to another section of the board instead of opening a new document. Collaborative. Love being able to move items around and recategorise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot I dislike about Miro itself, but I have found resistance by some people to use Miro in workshop settings after over-use during lockdowns/ working from home era. I love using Miro, but for people who don't use it day to day, I have found some resistance in wanting to use it for collaborative sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A single place for all my thinking. No need to use multiple tools for notetaking, brainstorming, collaborative working and designing. I also take user research interview notes in Miro and use the tagging and colour-coding features to organise and categorise notes. I love that it is collaborative. Great for workshops and capturing people's ideas.
Great tool for creative collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Miro for several design projects, especially during the research phase, and it's been incredibly helpful. The interface is intuitive, and the ability to gather ideas, images, and notes all in one place makes it perfect for brainstorming and mapping out workflows. It's also great for collaborating with teammates in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that the site can sometimes lag or freeze when a board has too many documents or heavy content. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be a bit frustrating during intense work sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro was a huge help during the pandemic, when all of our work had to be done online. It made remote collaboration much easier and allowed me to stay organized. Since then, I've continued using Miro for design projects because it makes it so easy to visualize ideas and structure research without needing a physical board. I like that I can access my project from anywhere, whether I’m at home, in the studio, or on the go.
Covers all my digraming draft needs
What do you like best about the product?
I could draft any idea of any design as miro offers different ways of diagraming different aspects of software. Also I use it personally in mi private account as I find it really useful to organize information to draft any kind of project.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think that with old boards sometimes somethings get buggy. For example with mind maps, or nets, they changed the way they implemented it and the old ones got buggy. And I had to kind of migrate them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to share my designs with UML or different schemas with a standard and easy usage.
Simplicity and agility for various purposes

- Creation of components with AI assistance;
- Integration with well-known components, like Draw.io;
- There is a huge amount of ready-made components available;
- I never needed to contact Support, the experience is fluid and stable 99.999% of the time.

What do you dislike about the product?
- The only disadvantage I currently perceive is the performance on very large boards, but this seems more like a matter of board organization than the platform itself. Perhaps the platform itself could detect these performance issues and make suggestions to the user, indicating best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Organization of ceremony dynamics such as planning and retrospectives;
- Quick creation of diagrams of all types;
- Allows for a lot of creativity to create professional and attractive presentations;
- Easy to share the boards within the team or with external people.

The most flexible and visual tool for collaborative project work
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a lifesaver for organizing complex group projects. I love how intuitive it is to use — dragging, dropping, color-coding, and creating visual flows without limits. The ability to collaborate in real time with teammates, especially during brainstorming or project planning, is incredibly powerful. I use it for everything from Gantt charts and dashboards to structured documents and task boards. It gives me a full overview of the project at a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the board becomes overwhelming if there are too many elements. It would be helpful to have more advanced features for grouping, collapsing, or hiding parts of the board to reduce visual clutter. Also, while the free version is generous, some useful features (like high-level export options or integration with external tools) are locked behind the paywall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me solve the chaos of team collaboration, especially when working on complex academic or software projects. Instead of scattered documents, lost emails, or endless meetings, I can visualize everything in one place — from brainstorming and project timelines to documentation and task management. It's perfect for cross-functional teamwork, even when everyone is working remotely. It keeps my team aligned, our tasks clear, and our project progress transparent.
A daily user of Miro in project work.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to organize workshops and create a shared project space — especially valuable in research-heavy projects. It also enables collaboration with clients in this environment. A library of basic icons and images supports and streamlines the workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited options for customizing frames — in some projects, we use Miro instead of Google Slides for final presentations, which requires stronger branding. The ability to, for example, upload a custom font would greatly improve this type of work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
"It solves the challenge of teamwork by providing a shared space that’s accessible to everyone. This kind of space helps organize projects, workshops, or large amounts of content — for example, research findings. Miro allows this content to be structured visually, which increases efficiency and speeds up the workflow. There’s no need to switch between multiple tools, and the content collected in one shared space is often more digestible for both the client and the team. It’s one of the best tools for collaborative work, especially when working with people who aren’t familiar with Figma and find design tools less approachable.
Great tool to manage product in online-first era
What do you like best about the product?
It's really great for collaboration and workshops for the distributed teams. It's really simple to use and helps facilitate meetings online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have a feeling it consumes a lot of browser memory to run, slowing other things down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Facilitating online meetings. I love possibility of anynomous replies and upvoting. It really helps to make the work done with distributed teams.
The core tool for every Product Manager!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is the freedom it gives during the creative process. As a Product Manager, I need to facilitate communication without dominating the conversation, and Miro enables true cross-functional collaboration. Whether it's business, engineering, or sales, everyone can contribute in real time on a shared visual canvas. One of my favorite features is "Bring everyone to me" — it adds interactivity to presentations and keeps the whole team focused and engaged on the same content.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I struggle with in Miro is organising and locating boards. Since we use one board per project, and many are created by teammates or shared across teams, it can become overwhelming to find the ones I need quickly. I would really appreciate a feature like personal folders or a customizable workspace where I can group and prioritize the boards that are most important to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clarify ideas, increase shared understanding among teammates and stakeholders and provide visual aid to enforce solutions/spark questions
