Good First impression
What do you like best about the product?
It definitely appears industrial grade. It has robust set of features to support attribute and BOM management of your products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find anything I dislike yet. We are still evaluating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team Center appears to provide all features we need for Item attribute , BOM and Change management. The Compliance aspect of an Item is covered too.

Best PLM tool that exist!
What do you like best about the product?
Extensive capabilities and scalability offering by Siemens solving enterprise design and data management problems into one application providing several capabilities like Change Management, Part, Design and so on
What do you dislike about the product?
Licenses for Teamcenter. May be value based licenses could help drive transformation faster in organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design Management, Legacy PDM to PLM modernization, integrating systems like Change and Projects.
Teamcenter- the only Truly E2E PLM system
What do you like best about the product?
Started as a PDM system but expanded with full blown Product lifecycle system with 10/10 capabilities in most areas
What do you dislike about the product?
One size fits all solution forces users to customize most of the times codeful customization that will make futures upgrades expensive and prohibitive

Medical devices related documentation and submission with full tracibility for changes and product data

What do you like best about the product?
I like the scalability of the 4 tier architecture and the improved server manager of 14.3 over our previous version of 11.6
What do you dislike about the product?
While I actually like TEM if it were to be improved rather than depracated, it would be nice for a installed filter option/button when looking at the Features window.

It's has enabled collaboration between departments for decades

The installation process is complex. The product can be overwhelming because it is so capable and far-reaching.

My customers have long-standing needs to manage product data. With the new DOD Directive for Digital Engineering, it's even more necessary.

The new BOM redlining functionality will help Agile customers better understand the tool.

Teamcenter is a powerful tool that's potential reaches far beyond what most organizations use it for

The configuration management of lots of data types and the interaction between Teamcenter and other applications makes it a center point of data management for a product

Like many Siemens products there is a steep learning curve to fully utilize the software

Configuration management, workflow for release, spec data storage
We just integrated to using Teamcenter and it was not very smooth

It's nice having the direct connection from NX CAD to the PLM software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't understand why we need a DBOM, EBOM, MBOM and SBOM. Seems like most of the info is redundant. Also some of the interfaces are not working (scrolling, ect in windows)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The direct connection between NX CAD and Teamcenter is helping us with speed of change. It is nice all the engineering data is in one location and we can import files to Teamcenter to easily be found
TeamCenter Complexity
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to integrate many aspects of design to mfg and end of life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex, too many modules and it's not intuitive to navigate. Too cumbersome.
