InDesign for dummies - a fantastic tool
What do you like best about the product?
Canva lets people with little or no graphic design experience easily create professional-looking graphics for a wide variety of uses: social media, blogs, posters, ads, etc. The reasonably priced annual subscription includes a huge library of stock elements ranging from photos and illustrations to backgrounds and themes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I don't like about Canva. It's the most useful piece of software I've come across in years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating on-the-fly headers, social media posts, illustrations and even photo manipulations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're currently paying someone to do basic graphic design and don't mind learning a little bit about color and design, Canva is a great solution.

Super easy way to create infographics
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of using the various features in Canva. It is very intuitive, and has a ton of great template designs for all different kinds of media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I download the pdf version of something, the resolution is not crystal-clear if I blow the image up larger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Disseminating complicated information in an easily-digestible manner. Appealing to others' perceptions of color and design. It has been immensely helpful in creating interest for otherwise-dry projects and reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Explore the template designs before you begin a project- either to find a template that you may be able to use to fit your data, or just to generate ideas of what Canva's capabilities are and what exactly you can create on your own.

What do you like best about the product?
I somebody who does not have it degree in graphic design, or has ever taken one of those courses, it's nice to be able to create flyers invitations and other marketing materials for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva randomly deketes things qhich is extremely frustrating. Too, their customer service is impossible. Even though we pay, there is no live chat or phone support options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing streamlined, flyer creation.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva truly is an awesome platform for all things graphic-related. You can create professional level designs for business or personal use. Canva has hundreds, possibly thousands, of free designs you can build from. These designs are also themed (social media, menus, invitations, brochures, etc.) that can be edited. There is an extensive amount of fonts and free images, although some come with a small fee. Personal images can also be uploaded effortlessly. When your work is complete, you can download as a .PDF, JPEG, or . PNG without any difficulty. Truly, I do not know of a better graphics platform for the layman than Canva - start using it right away!
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, I have no complaints. As I said, some images are watermarked with a small fee which can be annoying, but there are plenty of free images to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create graphics for education purposes, and I even have students using it for projects.

Go for it. Seriously!

Canva is the best!
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is unique. I like to use it for a lot of things, the interface is simple and userfriendly, the disposition of the tools is intuitive and it offers you a lot of templates, images, illustrations, and fonts that I can use in my projects. The exporting settings are great since you can export the files in jpg or png (and this depending on the work you're doing, are two great formats) Allows me to upload my own images and graphics, which is great for the majority of us that share a lot of original content.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't use videos or gifs in it and sometimes is slow and difficult to move things around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to my work as a freelancer graphic designer I use canva to make the designs of my clients. Thanks to the tools that offer me, my clients are always very satisfied because I manage to capture exactly what they want in the designs I give them. This has brought me many benefits such as recognition of their part and their fidelity. As well as the remarkable improvement of my portfolio, so that now it looks more attractive and professional. I have also received many proposals for work, from small companies, brands, restaurants and others, who want my designs to represent them.

I truly recommend Canva, is an amazing design software, that offers you the exact tools, to make professional designs!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Lots of templates. Can upload and use images. Great to create presentations and cover pages. Offers different font and symbols to beautify your designs. Can also work with shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is lag sometimes. Desktop version and mobile app can be provided for quick work.
30 designs per template at a time. After you have created 30 designs using a template, you gotta create another design thread to use the same dimensions. I feel they can increase the limit. For a heavy Canva user, this only means that a lot of design threads of a single template will be created. This, in turn, will further make Canva's functioning slow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I discovered Canva during my very 1st job when the only graphic designer in the staff would give me a tough time in sending across timely designs. I had to manage the social media pages and it was imperative for me to ensure, that graphics be prepared on time for me to post. That is when I started my search for a basic designing software that would fulfill making good looking post-worthy graphics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A large pool of FREE shapes, fonts, frames, grids, icons, lines, colours (including custom colours) to choose from. You can't ask for more

It is free to use and has a simple design that is easy to learn.

There are some aspects of the service that are very limiting, but overall it is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For people who are not proficient in graphic design and experienced with Adobe software; this is a great alternative to still get the job done.

Give it a try! It's mostly free to use.
Great for Non-Designers
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and ease of creating designs, even if you are not design-oriented or used to using Indesign, Illustrator, etc. I also like the pre-made templates. I am a graphic designer for a marketing company, and our clients sometimes choose to use canva over going through me for smaller, non-important projects which helps lighten my workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
Again, I am a graphic designer and programs like these cause slight concern that I will be run out of a job in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less billable hours because companies can make designs on their own time.
Best Free Image Design Software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and incredibly versatile! Canva is an incredible product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you have to pay for transparent backgrounds.

Canva is great for creating promotional graphics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is easy to use, but it works the best with a transparency or design software. It creates visually pleasing graphics and makes collaborating on visuals easier.
