A better alternative to JamF Pro
What do you like best about the product?
I decided to switch to Kandji after realizing how much more intuitive and streamlined it is compared to Jamf. The setup was quick—fully operational in just 2–3 days. App deployments are simpler, I no longer experience unexpected lockouts, and there’s no extra cost for technical support. Overall, the transition has been smooth and the user experience significantly better.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where Kandji could improve is its reporting capabilities. Prism is decent, but there are certain reports it doesn’t offer out of the box—you’ll need to get creative to extract the data you need. Another limitation is the ability to wipe a locked device. Currently, the user has to unlock the computer before it can be wiped, which isn’t ideal in all situations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji makes it easy to support remote users by streamlining policy and application deployment. This is especially valuable for users who aren’t very tech-savvy. What used to be a time-consuming onboarding and offboarding process now takes a fraction of the time thanks to touchless provisioning.

What do you like best about the product?
Kandji allows us to set up different kinds of Apple devices for different purposes, ensure they stay secure, and keep track of them. It is simple and easy for support staff to work on and check on the process of enrolment and installation too, as well as giving them the tools for supporting other staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the Kandji blueprints had some more options for conditions and exceptions, and that when there are problems that the feedback was more detailed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previous set up Apple devices using a series of manual process and scripts. It was a long and imperfect process that didn't join machines to the domain or Active Directory and didn't track updates and security. Now we are able to ensure that all our Macs are current and secure and able to push out applications and configurations easily, whether they are on site or remote. The support Kandji has given has been invaluable in helping with any challenges too.
Kandji is the best device management system I have ever used!
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has a very user-friendly platform. They are extremely responsive when I need assistance. Their system is very clean and organized and has all of the features that we require to manage our devices. If I ever have ideas of a feature that could be helpful for us, they are always open to my feedback and bring solutions to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial set up of devices may have been challenging if our rep wasn't so helpful, but they were extremely helpful and made the setup seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji gives us the ability to manage and organize all of our Apple devices. This would be a big headache without Kandji. Not having to stress about the management of these devices and knowing that Kandji has me covered is very helpful.
Great product, Superb people, but even better experience!
What do you like best about the product?
One of the most valuable aspects of Kandji is the customer service and the personal connection I feel with the company. It never feels like I’m interacting with a distant, faceless product. Instead, I associate real names and genuine personalities with the platform.
When I reach out to support, I’m speaking with a real person—not a bot or AI. I receive thoughtful emails and have Zoom conversations with team members who not only solve issues but also share a bit about themselves, like what they did over the weekend. These personal interactions make Kandji feel less like just a tool and more like a team I trust and enjoy working with.
They consistently follow up when I need assistance, which reinforces that reliability. If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be this: continue evolving the product and staying ahead of industry trends—but never lose the human touch that sets Kandji apart.

What do you dislike about the product?
Dislikes? Honestly, nothing at the moment. I might have mentioned the browser-based chat window in the past due to occasional glitches, but that’s already been resolved—so no complaints there.
That said, I would really appreciate more comprehensive training or guidance when new features or products are rolled out. Sometimes a release will pop up, and I find myself wondering, “What is this? How does it work? Why would I use it?” Eventually, I figure it out when I have the time, but having proactive tutorials or short walkthroughs explaining the purpose and functionality of new additions would be incredibly helpful. A bit of tutoring around new rollouts—especially the “why” behind them—would go a long way.

They are keeping us compliant, and keeping our inventory accounted for.
Easy access to SW Upgradations
What do you like best about the product?
Have been using it for past 2 years and it has been an easy ride having it running by SW updates at the back without my intervention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Kandji has a bit of forefront role, popping up every now and then for update checks - otherwise it's good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All that i've stated above and it seamlessly works with Macs that we use. Even our phones too.
