Channel origination, MCR and distribution
Cloud-based solutions for channel origination, master control, and distribution can help broadcasters reduce costs and gain operational flexibility. They optimize workflow efficiency, enhance scalability, and facilitate real-time content scheduling. New channels can be created faster, operators can work remotely, and content can be seamlessly managed, prepared, and shared across different platforms. With playout and master control in the cloud, broadcasters can achieve a seamless global IP primary distribution workflow. This demo shows the creation and management of linear feeds, as well as running a TV station in the cloud with both an over-the-air ATSC 3.0 channel and an over-the-top (OTT) free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel, using live content combined with archived content and advertisements.
