FAQs

A digital badge provides a verifiable way for individuals to showcase knowledge, skills, or accomplishments, whether through a resume, social network, or email signature. Badge earners can display the badge image with a unique link that anyone can click to verify that specific individual’s achievement.

In addition to select digital badges for learning plans, AWS Training and Certification offers a variety of badges. Our premiere badges are awarded for for AWS Certifications. We also offer badges for specific AWS Partner accreditations, membership in or commencement from programs such as AWS EducateAWS re/StartAWS Authorized Instructors, and more. You can review all AWS Training and Certification badges on Credly.com.

Each badge has its own requirements, which are outlined on the specific badge page under Earning Criteria on Credly.com.

Badges are free to accept, i.e. there is no cost to create a Credly.com account or accept a badge. While most of our badges are free to earn, some require membership in a specific program or have other requirements.

Each badge has its own timelines for awarding a badge. Most badges require a review process to ensure individuals have met the requirements.

AWS Training and Certification uses Credly, an independent organization, to deliver digital badges.

You can find information on Credly’s site about how to accept or share your badge. Please contact Credly support for questions about your using or managing your Credly account.
I am missing a badge, what should I do?

Please review Credly’s site for information about accepting a badge. If you're expecting to receive a badge and you have not yet received it, first make sure that the badge you have been issued is sent to the same email address you have registered with Credly. If the badge has been issued to another email, you can add that email as a secondary email within your Credly account. If you still have not received the badge, contact Credly support for further assistance.
