Excellent sound and Video Quality
What do you like best about the product?
Video, Audio, Features, Connectivity, Compatible
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such just take more space in RAM; more data required
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits such as time-saving, compatible to use, user friendly UI and UX designs
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will highly recommend it for US IT Industry; it is compatible with both Calls and texts
A good app to make internal phone calls
What do you like best about the product?
We were in search of an app that would help us to make calls within our team with an excellent mobile app and desktop app. We also needed a web version of the app. Ring Central provided all of them with great functionality to make calls, messages, and video calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop app is not efficient, and sometimes it causes my system to hang. The system slows down during calls causing call failures and call drops. The screen share also stops sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking to give an extension to our remote team that would be directly linked to our office number; Using Ring Central, we were able to achieve this.
Good for team work video calls and one-on-ones
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Everything is self-explanatory, I was able to set up calls and meetings without watching any tutorials prior. RingCentral sends reminders to your email before the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have an issue with connection while using Rind Central. Also, if your teammate holds a meeting (becoming a host) and they don't come to work, the whole team will not be able to have this meeting as only the host can open it. So you would have to create another meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly used RingCentral for scheduling meetings and client conversations. It is beneficial free tool for any business as it is free and video calls are much more personable than a phone call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend downloading the Ring Central app and also using it on your phone for ease of responding to your team/clients.
Not Great But Acceptable
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to find things from within the application. Things are organized decently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the basic functionality of the application is not great. It's decently configurable but the default configuration didn't even let me call external numbers. The sound quality is also pretty bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems being solved is the ability to have both traditional phone calls and conference calls with audio/video with clients. Benefits I have realized are that now I am using the software, I do have that capability.
RC video, right choice ?
What do you like best about the product?
Video Quality and direct call in feature
What do you dislike about the product?
Not so good user interface, more features to add
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
F2F Interviews with no interruptions
Unknown, but good
What do you like best about the product?
I used their free plan last year, and their features are excellent. On the one hand, you don't get the zoom's 40-minute limit; on the other, you don't have Google eavesdropping on everything you say.
Apart from that, you get good quality video conferences suited for all your meetings. People can connect with you even if they don't have a Ring Central account. I like the "swap device" feature (it basically lets you seamlessly switch from your laptop to your tablet to your smartphone).

What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of people don't know the app, so you may need to take some extra time to explain that you use a "different" app and make them download the client if they connect from a smartphone/tablet. If people enter your meeting without an account, the "enter your name field" is not in a very intuitive place, so 90% of the people that connect to my meetings has their device's name (and renaming is not as easy as in Zoom). So, if you know everyone, and they have their cameras on the whole time, this may not be an issue, but it is a bit annoying for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find it a bit refreshing to have a viable alternative to both Zoom and Google Meet without the main cons they have (40 minutes… and Google not respecting your privacy). Since we are moving back to work on-site, we don't need a video conferencing tool as much as we did last year.
Reliable and great sound.
What do you like best about the product?
Very responsive, and clarity of sound from inbound and outbound calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, great product, would like to see a bit cleaner interface on Mac Desktop App
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer calls with various issues get fixed over this application. The clarity of the sound makes it easier to understand and resolve issues.
